Help the Families at Pico Rivera

Donation protected

On Dec 31, ALL the families who were living in Whittier Manor Apartments (8615 Whittier Blvd, Pico Rivera, CA 90660), were removed from their apartments because the location has been red-tagged and deemed 'unsafe for living.'

The news reports fail to mention that all the residents, entire families and their children, have been removed form the whole location, leaving behind most of their belongings, and running the risk of being fined over $2,000 if they try to collect their things.

Under these circumstances, the American Red Cross has been vital in helping these families in their time of need. And with the help of the Pico Rivera Parks and Recreation Dept., they have set up a Relief Shelter where these families can stay for a few days.

But this help is only temporary, and will close down on Tuesday, Jan. 6. These families need help to relocate to new apartments as soon as possile and to be able to get back on their feet. Any donations would mean the world to them, and if you could help in any other way, PLEASE, inform us.

We'll thank you for your help as best we can under these circumstances.
