This is Charles Anderson. He's 61 years old, he's been out of work for almost three years--and has been looking for a job without success. During one interview a few months back, when a potential employer found out Charles' age, said: "I don't think my workman's comp insurance would cover you"
Charles has been reduced to relying on food stamps AND his step daughter (and me) to help keep his utilities on--(not to mention, he's pawned just about everything he owns to make ends meet). Topping it off, most recently, he was enroute to a one time day job when the right front hub assembly on this SUV collapsed...it's estimated it'll take $300-$400 to repair.
