Help Us Grow The 730 Review

Donation protected

Founded in 2017, The 730 Review  is a London-based online arts magazine covering everything from Cinema and Music to Ballet, Galleries and Theatre. Featuring interviews, reviews, comment articles and everything in-between, join us for an accessible guide to culture and the arts. We are focussed on continuing to produce accessible, unique and insightful digital content from within the Arts, utilising an extensive contact base of PR companies, theatres, venues, curators and festival organisers.

We reach over 5000 people every month and we’re really proud. In our first year we managed to review over 150 shows in 3 weeks at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, interviewed comedians such as Reginald D. Hunter and Lucy Porter, poet RJ Archipov, theatre companies such as The RSC, reviewed 100 new films from the Raindance Film Festival and London Film Festivals, create an industry recognised weekly music series called Songs We Like and squeezed in plenty more along the way. We’ve even got over 20 writers in the UK and 2 in the United States.

But guess what? There’s so much more we want to bring to you.

The thing is, we can’t do it on our own. We need your help.

We started this company from our own student pockets and now we want to grow.

We’re looking to raise £20,000 so that we can keep this awesome publication going.

Here’s why:

We want to keep our amazing team of editors, writers and staff. At the moment, we can’t afford to pay them and yet they do so much, all out of their love for the arts. We think they deserve to be rewarded. Some of our funding would go towards an incentive programme that all of our writers and editors can access until we grow enough to pay them a living salary.

In order to grow, we need money for marketing. We’re thankful for the amazing network we have around us and if you’re watching this, you’re a part of that network. We think there are lots of people that would like to join us too. With your help we can further our reach and bring our content to even more people everyday.

We love the website that we’ve built but we know it’s only a short term solution. A huge part of this round of fundraising would go towards building a shiny, new custom website that we can love and cherish as we add more content to our ever growing archive.

We have so many ideas that we want to become reality! That includes a podcast, new sections and an app. With this first round of fundraising, we can fulfil that expansion and diversify our content.

We want to develop new writers. The arts is for everyone and with our help we can publish more content and develop and train young writers who want a future in this industry. With funding for the arts being cut in schools and colleges year on year, we want to give something back and give young people a stronger critical voice in the arts sector.

We have so much planned for the future. That means more content, more writers and even more for you to sink your teeth into.

With your help, The 730 Review can continue to bring you more of that content, provide new artists with the exposure and coverage they need, develop new journalistic talent and reward our awesome team for the work they’ve already put in.
