Help Grace Heal

Grace, 13, was involved in a horrible, freak accident with her horse while racing at the county fair. Grace caught herself on top of the tin wall and cut her main artery under her armpit. She was airlifted from the track after losing lots of blood. She was given 3 pints of blood before she was stable enough for surgery at the hospital. She endured a 10 hour surgery like a champ, but her road to recovery will be long and hard. The artery in her arm could not be salvaged, so a replacement was taken from her leg. Along with the cuts and scrapes, Grace has severe nerve damage. She has more surgeries coming in the near future as she needs as well as depending how her body handles everything. Gracie is a strong little girl who brings a big, sweet smile and lots of joy to those she meets.
