Help Azar Walk Again

Although the main mission of the SPACA is to fight animal abuse & cruelty, we will never turn our back on an animal in need - no matter what the reason!

Azar is a handsome 9 y/o boy who desperately needs help.  Azar loves nothing more than a good game of frizbee.  Sadly, earlier this month as Azar jumped to catch that beloved flying disc, he landed rough and tore a major ligament in his leg. 

Pain medications are helping Azar through each day, but without prompt surgery, Azar may never be able to walk again.  If that happens, his vet has indicated that he would most likely need to be put to sleep.  Thankfully, the vet is confident the surgery will be successful, and while Azar may not be allowed to chase that frizbee, he will be able to enjoy several more quality years with his family. 

Unfortunately, this operation is going to cost over $2000, and this is hitting Azar's family at the worst possible time.  His mom is disabled and unable to work, and his dad is trying to work around the clock to make this happen - but the clock is ticking on Azar's future. 

Bad times fall on good people, and good animals.  When I heard this story, I immediately wanted to help.  I also know what a great network of folks I work with online through Facebook, and I feel confident that together we can save Azar.

While it may not be a typical rescue scenario, without timely help - Azar won't be around much longer, and his family is devastated!

I'm kicking things off by chipping in the first $100, which leaves us $900 short of putting this beautiful boy back on all fours.  Whether it be $5, $10, $20, or $100, ANY help you can offer WILL make a difference.
