Ukes for Uganda

Hello Everyone,
My name is David Harbottle and I am a secondary school music teacher at Coombeshead Academy in Devon.
I am fundraising to supply Ukueles to our link school in Uganda this April. Your sponsorship will not only help me with my travel costs, it will more importantly fill an entire suitcase full of Ukueles (I'm aiming for at least 20).
Why Ukueles? They are cheap, small and accessible.
The most important reason for my journey is to establish a symbiotic relationship with the children living in Uganda. Leading English Folk song workshops and learning about their own musical culture and heritage.
The cycling bit: My aim is to cycle from Totnes in Devon to Lyon in France during February next year. I will be covering a distance of 600 miles within a six days period (averaging 100 miles a day). This will be a great test of both my mental and physical fitness.
Whatever you can give will be a huge support to me but an even greater support to the students in Uganda.
