H.A.L.O. INC. is a Kentucky state licensed, not profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to helping rescues and sanctuaries save the lives of abused, neglected and homeless shelter animals at imminent risk of being euthanized.
All Rescues face challenges that hinder their efforts to save animals from euthanasia but operating a Rescue in a state which has ranked last in America for animal rights and animal welfare for seven consecutive years makes our tasks even more daunting. This is why we need your help!
H.A.L.O has several pending projects; however, our top priority is to acquire funding to renovate a small structure into a kenneling facility and fence in a two-acre area. Upon completion of this project not only will be able to increase the number of animals that we can foster, including those with special behavioral needs, but we will be able to offer respite care, free of charge, to our affiliate Rescues. Without these dedicated individuals, hundreds of animals would be euthanized – but the reality is, most rescues directors and their loved ones haven’t been on a vacation in years because they simply can’t afford to board the dogs in their care and many have no choice but to close their rescue during times of crisis such as the illness or death of a loved one.
Your donations are urgently needed. It is only through your kindness that we may continue our mission to save these precious animals and to give back to those that truly give all.
