Greame Watson - #TEAMSOGB

Tax deductible
Graeme has trained and competed with Special Olympics Scotland West for two years.  In that time, Graeme has won two gold and two silver medals in two national competitions.

Special Olympics GB has allowed Graeme to make new friends, socialise and become more confident in his abilities.

Graeme has been selected to represent Great Britain in the Figure Skating competition at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria in 2017, one of the biggest events in the Special Olympic global calendar which will attract over 3,000 athletes with intellectual.

At the World Winter Games, Graeme wants to do his best for Special Olympics GB and is proud to represent his club. And although this is the biggest thing he has ever done, Graeme looks to the future: after doing his best in Austria, he will keep learning about the ice and improving his skating skills, building on his experience of competing at an international level.

For the athletes, going to the Games is not only about participating in their chosen sport: it’s about meeting athletes from around the world, making new friends, having fun, daring, improving their health and challenging preconceptions about people who have an intellectual disability

Please give what you can to help Graeme on his way to Austria as he is working hard in order to be the best he can in 2017 and to do his country proud.
