On Wednesday, June 3rd, at 6:00 in the morning, our Grandma's House of Hope program staff arrived at our storage sheds in Garden Grove to find out they had been broken into and that the food stored there for homeless children had been taken.

Through our Nana's Kidz program, Grandma's House of Hope provides meals to nearly 400 homeless children in Orange County who are in need or struggle with food insecurity every month! All of these children live in homeless conditions such as motels, cars, or doubled/tripled up with other families. They rely on the school cafeteria as their primary source of food Monday-Friday. Nana's Kidz program provides food during the weekends and over the Summer months when school is out of session. Grandma's House of Hope is a non-profit charitable organization.

With your help, we hope to extend our Nana's Kidz Program to an additional 500 children living in homeless conditions. In the first 24 hours of our apeal we raised 25% of our goal but we need your help to make sure no child goes hungry. At an average cost of 37 cents per meal it only costs $228 per year for one child to know they will never go to bed hungry. Please consider making a donation of any size to help us provide food to more motel families.
