Baby George fund

"I'm sorry, but, there is no way you can carry another child. You need to have a hysterectemy...soon." These were the words that, once again, had turned my life upside down. The parents of a beautiful little girl; we wanted, so much, to have another child. Our daughter was in the midst of cancer treatment and we were also trying to expand our family. There were multiple miscarriages along the way, and still no success.  20 months into our daughter's treatment, we were given the news that I would not be able to have any more children. The doctor gave us options; of course, adoption being one of them. But, he also told us about looking into a gestational carrier. A person who carry's a baby for you. Easier said than done as neither my husband nor myself have any blood-related sisters.
After telling family and friends about our latest trials, our friend, Jenn, came to us one day and said SHE would like to carry our baby for us! She and her husband had discussed it and they wanted to do this for our family. 2 weeks before our daughter completed her final chemo treatment, Jenn became pregnant with our son, George.
On June 23, 2014, George was born! 8lbs, 14oz and an amazing addition to our family. Jenn and her husband were truely a God-send and we were blessed with a gift beyond words. A gift that, no amount of money seems appropriate, and, money they would not accept.
As a thank you, we would like to treat this amazing family to a trip of a lifetime! We are taking both of our families to Disney World. We are trying to raise $15,000 to help finish paying off the medical bills we have for George and to help us take this amazing family on an incredible trip.
