Hi! My name is Karen! I am a mom of 3 amazing boys, a wife, and most important a child of God!
I am a survivor of child abuse and have suffered years and years of triggers, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and Anxiety due to the abuse from my past.
Using my voice was the one thing that suffered the most, and today I am using that voice to stand for abuse, neglect, and others out there who are also survivors!
I decided to write this book to help others overcome and see that there is light on the other side of abuse! You CAN heal, you CAN live a life!
I am on the other side of this abuse, and I have found life on the other side of the pain and suffering I went through in the healing process!
This book is a DREAM of mine, not just to tell my story, but to help others out there who suffer just like I did!
This book is being written to help people move through the healing process, and connect back with life, God and learning how to use your voice to empower yourself in the process.
This book will also help other children out there because half of the proceeds are going towards CASA (Court Appointed Child Advocate), to help children out there who are in abusive unsafe homes - and help them to be put in loving homes and away from danger!
I am a CASA and work to help children today!
I am also a writer of my Blog called "Finding The Grace Within" to where I write through my process of healing - to help connect others who need hope through this process of healing!
Please help my dream come true to help others! Not only will you be helping me to write this book to help others, but you will help a great organization to help children get into safer homes with loving and caring people.
I am taking donations to help pay for the process of getting this book published.. I have a great publisher and editor, but the funds are very short to get this going and to happen!
