On Dec. 5th, on his way to a photo shoot, Joe's car was broken into in Pasadena. He was one of seven cars broken into that day in that parking lot. Unfortunately, his photography equipment was in the car and everything was stolen - including his Canon 5D MarkIII,  Canon 30D, Mac book pro, a hard drive and so much more - equipment valuing close to $10,000. But more importantly the priceless photographs and memories of families, friends and clients on the computer and hard drive were taken, which of course can never be replaced.  But they didn't just take stuff - they took Joe's means of living.  Joe is a full-time photographer and without his tools he can hardly make a living.

We’re creating this page to #givetojoe - a simple campaign of kindness to help our brother raise funds to recoup his stolen items.  During this giving season we hope you will take a break from online shopping and click the donate now button to #givetojoe. If only 20 of us give $150 each that would be enough to replace his laptop. And if 100 people give $20 each he could replace one of his cameras. But a gift of any amount adds up and counts towards helping Joe – so yes, your $10 will go a long way.  Our goal is to raise $5,000 by the end of the year.  Christmas is just around the corner and his birthday is on Dec. 28th - what better gifts than the support of family and friends to help him through this difficult time.

If you don’t know our brother - he is an awessome, caring and kind guy who is loyal to his family and friends and is willing to help anyone out when they need it.  Joe has been a freelance photographer for over 5 years.  He is passionate about his work.  He’s an artist who captures moments, tells stories and provides a different perspective on life through the lens of his camera.  He’s worked with notable clients such as Bruno Mars, Andrew Dice Clay and Robert Zapata.  But he’s also helped hundreds of other actors, models, musicians and athletes launch their career.  Whether it was a discount on head shots, marketing advice or a quick referral, Joe did what he could to give the up-and-coming artist a break.  Joe also travels throughout the US and creates images of life and beautiful views of historic locations with a modern twist.  But to us the most important photos my brother takes are the intimate photos of family and friends.  These moments are difficult to capture and the images Joe takes will be the ones that tells our family story to our childrens' children.

Joe gives so much to many but he is too humble to ask for help - so we thought it would be nice to return Joe's kindness by giving back to him.  Please #givetojoe.

Through your support, together we can all help say #joejoejoeMerryChristmas!

Love,
Joe's sisters - Jenn, Joan & Joyce
