Friends, Families, Alumni, and Supporters of Kent Crusader Rugby,
We, the Kent Crusaders Girls High School rugby team, are starting our fundraising campaign to get to the 2015 Girls National High School Rugby Tournament taking place in late May and would love your support. This year, the tournament is being held in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania - a long ways from Kent, Washington. Our club has a long history of being competitive at the national level, consistently placing among the top four in the country, and this year we are striving to keep that tradition alive. With our team full of High School All-Americans, Washington State Select Side players, quickly learning crossover athletes, and college bound seniors (some heading to varsity programs on scholarship) we believe we can make a strong run for the national title. Due to the location of Nationals, it is a very expensive trip and so we are asking for you to please consider contributing any sized donation towards our goal. Please also pass along the word to any other rugby supporters you may know. Thank you for your time and consideration.

The 2015 Kent Crusaders Girls Rugby Team
History of the Program:
Founded in 1992 as the first ever girls high school rugby team, the Kent Crusaders have been paving the way for girls to participate in rugby for over 20 years. The club has won 10 consecutive state titles as well as a national championship in 2000 and 2nd place finishes in 2005-07 and again in 2013. Ten players have moved on to represent the club at the national team level for the USA Eagles. Players have also moved onto college programs where they have won their school’s respective National Championships, received rugby scholarships, and continued on successfully in their rugby careers.
