Accepting donations for a Girl's Leadership Scholarship.
#Girls!LEAD is a scholarship program for young women in the Greater Bridgeport area that supports a positive self-image of girls in leadership and provides a platform for girl empowerment.
The scholars will identify a social need and work to complete a project that brings about change within the local, national or global community. Scholars will also participate in leadership workshops and receive project guidance. At the conclusion of the program, all scholars will present their project. SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED based on overall effort and participation in workshops.
The #Girls!LEAD Advisory Council is asking for donations towards the scholarship. No donation is too small! Let's encourage our girls to take on leadership positions in their personal and professional lives!!!
