Everyone always hears of tragic accidents but no one ever expects they will be the ones that they happen to. After loosing my balance and falling, my knee has been broken and will need a very expensive surgery to be fixed.
Even after the surgery, I will need many months of expensive physical therapy to eventually walk again. I know that this process is going to be incredibly tough and take every ounce of my mental, physical, and spiritual strength to get through this but I will focus on healing as fast as I can to get back to my job and back to my life.
These physical, and emotional elements are overwhelming; but they are only part of the battle. The other critical part is the cost of this surgery to treat my injury and the cost of this recovery. The hospital and rehabilitation costs are just the beginning of a long, arduous process of dealing with insurance to cover and continue to pay for therapy that is essential to my walking again.
The combined costs of surgery and therapy range from $6,000 to $12,000.
Post-surgery therapy can take from three to nine months.
As many of you know; last year I lost my family, former friends, and career due to a religious difference. I now do not have any family to rely on for help and I have no personal funds available to pay any of these costs. Furthermore, the time I am forced to be out of work will be a greater downfall in affording my rent and living costs.
I am humbly asking for your generous donation to help with medical and related expenses such as: medical treatment, rehabilitation, and hospital and doctors fees. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated to defray these costs. My goal is to raise at least $10,000 for this; though barring changes to insurance etc...I will definitely keep everyone informed of what is actually needed.
With your donations, my determination, the support and love of my friends, I will walk again, get back to work, and get back to performing once again.
