It takes a village to get to Harvard! Please help me get to Harvard and spread the word! Read the whole story at getambertoharvard.com
I got accepted into Harvard's Mind, Brain and Education Master's Program
for this school year! This is my DREAM program and the first broad training program in this emerging field in the WORLD!
I hope to be one of the trailblazers in educational neuroscience and I represent a population that some would scarce imagine could embark on such a feat (woman, African American, single parent household, self/unemployed, among other things). But I am here and I need your help!
I left my job last year to pursue my purpose and have been on an amazing, exhausting, spiritually dynamic, financially straining and soul awakening journey ever since. The story is one of animation and cosmic intervention for sure! Check it out here
I am accepting this opportunity I have been given and am beginning to understand the responsibility to which such a blessing is married. My duty to my community and the world, I do not take lightly. With your help I will be able to give you and the globe groundbreaking research and methods that I believe will improve the way we learn, educate and experience each other. With you, I can accomplish this. I need you to be a member of my village and support me in this journey.
There is power in numbers so the more people who are reached the more likely I'll be able to reach my goal! I know our social media networks combined is an easy 10,000 people who'd be willing to give $7 or more. This is more than possible! Thank you so much. Every contribution is welcomed and appreciated.

. Deadline - AUGUST 1
I was advised to budget for the whole year and not just by terms, so that's what I'm doing! Tuition and fees for the fall term are due by August 1, so I would like to be set for the whole year by that time as well. We can do it guys! The Financial Breakdown
Tuition and fees are $43,164. Harvard estimates $21,790 for personal expenses and using their quotes as a base I estimated that my expenses will be around $24,180. Herein lies the $70,000 (which accounts for the 5% Go Fund Me fee). (Click here to see Harvard's estimates. Page 2 in the Table of Contents)
I am completely relocating to Boston so I am taking my whole life with me. I'll be starting a home up there so I'll need all the necessary home goods (dishes, pots and pans, furniture, cleaning supplies, etc.). Furthermore, being from temperate Atlanta, I'll need some additions to my wardrobe that can weather Boston's antarctic cold and snow! And if you know of any scholarships, grants or opportunities through any retailers, please pass that info along.
Finally, I would love to go to school debt free (mostly student loan debt, about 55K). If you can help me in this area, please reach out. Any kind of reverse scholarship or something or loan forgiveness program or anything! If you have info I'm listening and grateful! In general, if you know of any scholarships, grants or programs that may be of interest to me, please pass the info along!
