Dear friends,
I'm writing to ask for your help. I'm one of 8 competitors in a fundraiser called Mr. Whitman, put on by the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at Whitman College. This year, 8 men will be competing to raise the most money for the Children's Home Society of Washington (CHSW ) by any means possible. Children's Home Society offers a wide variety of services for families, from after-school programs to early childhood education to family counseling. The Walla Walla chapter of CHSW, which this fundraiser is specifically supporting, is going to use the money raised to hire a specialist in early childhood therapy. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation here before 7pm on October 31st, when the fundraiser will culminate in a huge pageant-style event in Cordiner Hall at Whitman College.
