My name is Jessica Arcati, I am 13 years old, 8th grade student at Dawnwood M.S. and I was chosen to be a contenstant in the 2014 Miss Teen New York Pageant.
I chose to do this Pageant because I would like to pursue a career in modeling but I don't have the confidence. So during this Pageant, i'm hoping that it will give me more confidence and to meet new friends.
My goal is to eventually become a role model for other teenagers who suffer from depression because I've dealt with it myself and that's something I don't want other teenagers to go through.
In order to participate in this year's pageant, each contestant must secure sponsorship from local businesses and organizations in her community. And any friend or family member who is willing to sponsor the contestant. The total sponsorship covers Application and Processing, training class, Rehearsal, Production costs and all funds used for prizes.
November 1st is th training class, Interview with the Judges is November 15th and casual wear/formal wear is November 16th.
