Gary Christ's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
I never thought that at 25 years old I would be struggling to provide end of life care for my father. As many of you know, my dad has been sick for a long time. On May 22 my father, who has put his children first for as long as I can remember, was put on hospice. On May 31 we decided to bring my father home and provide his care ourselves. Between my sister and I, we have provided around the clock scheduled every 2 hour pain and anxiety medicine, as well as hourly doses in between, in addiction to caring for my 9 year old daughter who requires around the clock medical care. Since bringing my dad home, I have not worked so I can be here to care for him in his final days. Unfortunately, my father never settled his affairs or made a will. We have no resources to cover his viewing and funeral or expenses incurred while he continues to be with us. I am asking for donations to go towards his viewing and funeral, as well as the expenses and utility costs he has left unsettled. The last thing a family should have to worry about in these final days is finances.
PS. I can provide the funeral parlor information if you would like to donate directly to them. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
