Rescued Senior Cats Need Vet Care
Welcome to the Senior Kitty Fund!
When Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma hit Louisiana in 2005: truly Pandora's box was opened. Months of rescuing pets in the aftermath and reuniting them with their owners still left me with many more that were never reunited. Those in the photo are only a fraction of the many.
I am reaching out for these rescued cats that are now ranging from 9-16 years old . Their senior years are incuring more costly veterinary care, dental extractions and medications. As a result I am extremely financially overwhelmed. I want to continue their care as long as they can recover with treatment and have quality of life.
The Cat Hospital of Metairie has provided excellent care over the years. Both veterinarians, Dr. Miller and Dr. Perkins, have been helpful as much as possible with the situation. They can verify who I am and the many in my care, should this assist with your decision to donate.
Any amount you can offer toward this fund will be a blessing and very appreciated. It can also be sent directly to the hospital with notation for "Stewardship for Strays" at the address below:
