multiple sclerosis treatment /help

Hi my name is jonathan Collins and ive come here hopefully looking for help. Starting in febuarary of this year i started losing feeling in my right leg, i didnt think much of it just maybe a pulled muscle or something. Well it kept getting worse. I went to the hospital and they turned me away saying they couldnt find anything wrong with me. well i just kept the faith and hoped it would pass but it kept getting worse. by the end of March i could barely walk even with a cane. I went to the hospital again and they told me "We couldnt find anything so what do you expect from us?" I was outraged to hear this. After my girlfriend heard this she was outraged and came to the hospital to pick me up. I was living with two of my best friends and honestly it got to the point were i couldnt even take care of myself. My arms became numb, i couldnt walk even with someone to lean on and the hospital said they couldnt find anything. So my girlfriend took me home to live with her so i would have some help since i could not work. I filed for disabilty and they kept giving me the run around, they said they would get me an appointment with one of there doctors in time so i kept filling out the paper work they would send and i kept waiting on them. My condition kept getting worse and i had no idea what the problem was, I had lost all mobility from te waist down, i couldnt go to the tub or toilet, the only way i could move from one place to the other was to get help geting up and placed in my wheelchair. I waited until July for Disability and still no appointment, it took me having a fall in the parking lot and almost breaking my legs to finally find out what was going on. After my fall my girlfriend begged me to go to the er, i had no money and the last thing i wanted was another bill but i listened to her and went. This was a new hospital Shelby Hospital in Alabaster Alabama and the staff was amazing. Well after being there for over a week they found out what was wrong with me, i had lesions on my brain and spine cause by Multiple Sclerosis. Side effects caused by immune system attacking my body. I dealt with this for five months with no idea or help, the doctors said if i would have waited another month it would have killed me. Well they gave me steroid treatments to help with the muscle loss and to help regain my mobility. Well the hospital offered to help me acquire  dissabilty by sending them all my information and because even with the steroids i still needed ms treatments which are awfully expensive and me still unable to work. Well it looked promising that i would be approved with all of the support and paper work but i was denied. I got a free attourney to appeal my case but it will take up to a year to get the appeal. my girlfriend pays for my meds and puts a roof over my head and it kills me i cant take any of the burden off of her. So i came here to ask for help. Anything will help from donations to just spreading this around. Everything will go to get my treatments going and to continue to pay for the Prednison(steriods) i have to continue to take. Im sorry this is so long but thank you for reading this.
