Toby's Training Retreat Fund

As many of you know, we recently experienced a serious accident involving our ever loving, loyal, adventerous, fun loving, amazing dog, Toby. Though many people may not agree with or even understand our decision, he is our baby and we are not willing to give up on him. We brought him into our family five years ago, and will continue to love him unconditionally, as he is a part of our family NO MATTER WHAT.

After getting input from many different trainers, we decided to bring Toby to The Green Leaf Pet Resort and Hotel, where expert trainers have tailored a six week training program specifically to his needs. As hard as it has been being away from him, given the circumstances, we know that it is necessary and we have complete faith in Shelly and his team. Within their beautiful 56 acre facility, Toby will go on daily nature walks and swim in their heated in-ground salt water pool. The best part is that there are NO CAGES. Instead, Toby has a 6x6 glass encased private room which comes with a bed and special mattress, as well as aromatherapy, flat screen TVs, and weekly "spa time".

Thanks to the reassurance of the amazing trainers, we are very hopeful that Toby will graduate and come back to his loving home as soon as possible.

That being said, we are starting a fund to pay for Toby's rehabilitation, as it is rather expensive. We will also pledge 50% of all proceeds to Operation Ava, where Kiera is currently volunteering. It is an amazing no-kill shelter in Northern Liberties, which saves animals from overburdened shelters locally and nationwide.
