Elm Place Mitzvah Pizza Fund

One in five of our classmates arrive at school without any food to eat during lunch.  Our school nurse will provide them with a "sack lunch" if they request it, but unfortunately many kids are too embarrassed to be seen with the "sack lunch" and, instead, choose to go hungry. We want to provide a better option to help ensure that all students have a warm meal during the day.  Every Thursday is Pizza Day and is by far the best lunch day of the week.  Hot, delicious pizza is delivered to school for those kids lucky enough to be provided with the money to pay for it.  With your help, we will raise enough money to be able to provide pizza for students who could otherwise not afford it in a discreet manner that will nourish them without embarrassing them.

Hunger is not only an issue at Elm Place, but community-wide.  Any extra money donated will go to replenish supplies at Moraine Township Food Pantry. No donation is too small, please help us help our classmates and our community.
