Daughter's MS bills fund

Our daughter was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis several years ago and has been undergoing treatment for the disease since then.  Until recently, however, her insurance carrier did not cover large portions of her medical costs.  Within the past two months, she spent two weeks at a clinic in California and experienced some excellent relief.  Unfortunately, the clinic's costs may not be completely covered even under her new and improved policy.  My wife and I have been trying to help her with her costs, but they have become quite difficult to cover lately.  Both my wife and I are now retired, making our possible assistance even more difficult.  Any help would be most appreciated. 

Growing up in the 1950s, I became a great admirer of the work of Ray Harryhausen.  In the early 1970s, my dear friend Ray Bradbury introduced me to Ray Harryhausen, his close friend since the late 1930s, and a more than 40-year friendship followed.   Until Harryhausen's passing in 2013, I had the pleasure of both working with him and for him on a wide variety of projects.  Two of my most satisfying ventures on Harryhausen's behalf were my campaigns to get him an Honorary Oscar in 1992 and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003.  I also acted as his agent for several years in the 2000s and coordinated all of his North American appearances, including two large book tours and speaking engagements at both film studios and other venues.  Meeting Harryhausen and, even better, working side-by-side with him, was something I could never have imagined happening when I was seeing his wonderful films in Chicago in the "Fabulous Fifties."
