Women Talk... Little Girls Listen has become a community of thousands but is still ran by me, a twenty-two year old girl from Wichita, KS with solid plans for the future, who has one goal, and that is to follow my dreams and make a difference in my community. My number one goal is to provide an environment for children to feel safe to learn and grow in, while empowering the parents at the same time.
From the help from my supporters, and people I have helped along the way, I have come a very long way, but with the help of others we can go so much further! $10,000 is what I need to put a down payment on a building, get our liscensing and become a bigger a bigger and better resource for my community!
What Is Our Goal?
We believe that our children are our future. What better way to make a difference in the world then providing a stable foundation for our young girls to start off with? Our overall goal is to start an all girls program, ages 6 - 12, that will focus on increasing female adolescences' self esteem and using unique exercises and activities to trigger inner strength! In this establishment, we also plan to provide resources for the mothers as well, such as counseling sessions, weekly meetings capitalizing on child development as well as having a food bank available to families who are enrolled in the program, that are in need.
$15,000 is what we need to purchase our building, and furniture, and make a bigger impact on the female community !
