Tijuana 'Tink' Vereen was born in Orlando, Florida to Grayling Vereen and Betty Byrd on January 21, 1972. She graduated from Maynard Evans High School - The Class of 1990. Tink attended Columbia and Seminole State Colleges. Tink was an Allstate Insurance Sales Associate for many years. Tijuana ‘Tink’ Vereen is the mother of Marquiel Joseph and Chassidy Robbins.
In 2010, she was diagnosed with kidney failure and had to receive dialysis three times a week. In 2012 while receiving dialysis Tink suffered a major heart attack and was in a coma for a month. The Lord brought her out of the comma and it took months of painful therapy for her to learn to walk and care for herself again.
On Thursday, February 19, 2015 Tink was rushed to the hospital and once again during dialysis she suffered 3 more heart attacks and died at 10:15 am on Friday, February 20, 2015 - 30 days after her 43rd birthday.
Friends of Tink expressed a desire to help offset her final expenses and to help with Tink’s 16 year old daughter Chassidy’s education expenses. Friends of Tink asked me Tink's mother, Betty Byrd Bright to setup this account so those who desired to could make donations online.
