Friends For Global Change- Nepal Projects

Friends For Global Change is raising funds and collecting children's winter clothing, first aid/hygenic items, and non perishable food (not too heavy as we need to ship) to help the orphanages (www.mysmallhelp.org and www.chefund.com) and school we support in Nepal. Every little bit helps as this country has been ravaged by a massive earthquake and several powerful tremors. Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world and has one of the highest orphan rates. FFGC has been working with two orphanages ( CHEF and MySmallHelp ) located just outside of Kathmandu for over six years now. Since we began helping out, we have been able to raise funds which have gone to purchase solar power panels, inverters, fresh water storage tanks, over 50 pairs of shoes as well as covering medical and dental exams for the children of CHEF. We have also collected and delivered close to 3,000 lbs of clothing, medical supplies, educational materials and toys.   For more information, please visit www.friendsforglobalchange.org.
