Francine's Emergency Moving Fund

Please support me in the cause to raise funds for my mother, Francine for an emergency move due to a devastating loss.
Recently my mother's boyfriend of 12 years died due to complications from a catastrophic stroke. She was living with him at the time it happened and found him in their kitchen, unconscious. After a 3 week battle in the hospital, he tragically passed on.
Because Connecticut law does not recognize common law marriage and he did not leave a will, my mother will be forced to move out of the home that he owned and that they were living in.
Given her age and that I'm her only remaining family member, Francine has expressed the desire to move herself and her dog Elmo closer to me for support. I currently reside in Florida, which is over 1,200 miles away from her current location in Connecticut.
The challenge she is facing is the lack of funds to help facilitate this relocation. The time sensitivity of the move is urgent, with her only having a few weeks to transition her life.
With the funds received as part of this campaign, they will go towards the following expenses:
Moving truck + car hitch
Deposits for new housing
Boxes and supplies
Gas and amenities for travel
