Childswickham Sleep Out

We wanted to do something practical in response to the continual flow of horrific events in Syria which we are seeing reported in the news. So we are living in a tent in our front garden without all the comforts that we take for granted in order to show solidarity in a very small way with the Syrian refugees. 

The Sleep Out is taking place from 9th - 15th October. We will only take what we can carry in a ruck sack, and only go into the house to use the toilet.

All money raised will be divided between Tear Fund, Medecins Sans Frontieres, the Barnabus Fund and the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development (CAFOD). These agences are providing practical help for refugees in Syria.
