FOR Fayetteville

Donation protected
Fayetteville is an incredibly diverse and welcoming community.  We want our local laws to reflect this. Since the surprising repeal of our city’s non-discrimination ordinance we’ve continued the conversation about providing equal protections for every resident.

What we heard is that Fayetteville voters want everyone who works hard to have a fair and equal opportunity to provide for their families.  Chapter 119 had too many problems and ultimately wasn’t a good fit for our community but we’ve worked hard over the past several months with to find a balanced approach that works for Fayetteville.  FOR Fayetteville has been proud to work with a team of local residents, lawyers, city aldermen, and now the Chamber of Commerce to create this homegrown ordinance that answers the legitimate concerns expressed during last year’s campaign.

The city council is set to discuss the ordinance for the first time on June16.  But after that comes the hard part:  winning the campaign.  Less than 500 votes would have made the difference last time.  This time we will get them, but it takes resources and we need your help.

With your support, we'll make fairness and opportunity a reality for everyone; for Fayetteville.
