Footlights is a family...we are reminded of this during this time of year as our rehearsals begin again and our alumni often stop by before heading back to their respective schools. They know the auditorium will still smell the same, the musicians will still be playing, the singers will still be singing and the staff will always be there with open arms.
The memories created during high school productions are unforgettable and that's why we need your help!
We have, of late, been unable to cover the costs of licensing the show itself (close to $2,000), renting sound and lighting ($4,000-5,000) and purchasing or building costumes and set pieces ($1,000-$2,000).
If you have been part of or seen our productions, you know that we strive for EXCELLENCE and have won multiple awards as a result. As a competitive theater program, we must maintain our standards and without appropriate funding, we cannot.
We have a brand new production of Cinderella coming up and we are struggling to find a fund raiser that will raise enough money for the approximately $8,000-$10,000 needed to do the quality productions our talented students deserve.
That's why we have turned to GOFUNDME.
Your donation will help cover the cost of our current production and allow us repay our debts. With your help, we can pay for the rental of the show each year and use our ticket sales to maintain this balance.
