Maddox's Knee's Surgery

Hello my name is Maddox! I am a one year old boxer/pit mix that has been recently diagnosed with whats known as luxating patellas. Essentially my knee caps fall in and out of place and its kind of a bummer since I love running on the beach until the sun goes down. Currently I am living with my dad Bryan Vrba: he's working on getting his degree as a Civil Engineer. Anyway, when we left the vet we were told that surgery is the what we should look into since the x-rays showed that both of my knees have this luxating patella. Ive done research with my dad and there is other ways of helping me live with this condition. For the time being we can utilize joint medication, regularly exercise, and most importantly keep active to strengthen the muscle around my knees. Things are working out well thus far and my knees are staying strong, however as a long term solution surgery is what appears the best solution.
