WHO IS FLOWER- THE STORY
WHO ARE WE ?
We are a benevolent group of people who is producing the short-film “Flower” in NYC, which is about the loneliness felt by a homeless man in New York who goes through a one of a kind adventure as we explore his relationship with the city. This short-film is directed by Lucie Morey from Paris, France.
WHY THIS PROJECT?
We want trough this project, bring awareness to the lack of social link between homeless people and the rest of society, showing their loneliness and the hudge gap between them and the world, and especially in occidental society, like New york.
By sharing the point of view of an homeless man called Flower, diving into his dreams and his nightmares, we want to touch people’s hearts by opening their minds about the hard life of the homeless, which can be quite fascinating but is an extremely ignored reality by many people.

Our director Lucie recently graduated from Film school, but has a big vision and is determined to bring to the spotlight this inspiring story, and we want you to do it with us too, to permit that dream became true.

WHO IS THE DIRECTOR ?
Lucie Morey is a french student from the university ESRA in Paris, France, and recently relocated to New York to finish her Master's degree in Audiovisual Arts that she just obtained.
Passionate about art, she studied acting for 9 years but switched her career path a couple of years ago into film and photography. Her website here , and here to discover her universe.
"In my project, we follow Flower's story and live his point of view, his feelings, his thoughts. My story is not a drama, is not a comedy, because life is not just black or white, there is a lot of shades of grey and I want it to be a good mix between , realism and magic, also disturbing, physical and organic movie. Because we live between the darkness and the lightness... Because... I would say that we all are Flower."

Mélie Hirtz is a colorist, photographer and director of photography. Her inspirations are based on indie artists like Harmony Korine, Benoit Debie, Wong Kar Wai, and David Lynch. Her website.

Qu'arrivera t'il à Flower, SDF, et vieux monsieur, quand à la suite d'un terrible orage il va perdre la seule et unique chose qui le maintenait encore en vie : Jeanie, son amie imaginaire qui se trouve être en réalité l'héroïne d'une célèbre série télé.
QUI SOMMES NOUS ?
Nous sommes un groupe de bénévoles actuellement en préproduction du court métrage "FLOWER" à New york, qui met en scène la solitude vécue par un sans-abri, Flower. Il va vivre une aventure unique lorsqu'il ira parcourir explorer la ville. Ce court-métrage est réalisé par Lucie Morey, de Paris.
POURQUOI CE PROJET?
Nous voulons, à travers ce projet, mettre en image le manque de lien social entre les sans-abris et le reste de la société, en montrant leur solitude et le grand fossé qui existe entre eux et le monde, et particulièrement dans nos sociétés occidentales.
En partageant le point de vue d'un homme sans-abri et dans l'expérimentation de ses rêves et ses cauchemars, nous voulons à travers ce film, toucher le coeurs des gens. C'est en sensibilisant la population, à travers l'histoire de cet homme et à la triste réalité à laquelle il tente d'échapper, que nous pourrons aller de l'avant.
POURQUOI NOUS AVONS BESOIN DE CET ARGENT?
La réalisatrice Lucie est récemment diplômée de son école de cinéma en France. Elle a une vision précise et originale de son projet et est déterminée à attirer l'attention sur cette histoire inspirante. C'est pourquoi nous avons besoin de vous pour que ce rêve devienne réalité.
Nos dates de tournage sont du 27 au 31 Mai, 2017, et nous vous tiendrons informer de la progression du projet. En remerciement de votre aide, vous serez crédité au générique. Si vous croyez en notre projet, aidez nous à faire de l'histoire de Flower une réalité!

Lucie Morey est une étudiante française récèment diplômé de l'ESRA à Paris en France, et récemment installée à New York pour une année supplémentaire à son cursus.
Passionnée part l'art en général, elle a pratiqué le théâtre durant 9 ans. Elle s'est ensuite spécialisée dans le cinéma et la photographie. Son site ici , et là pour découvrir son univers.
"Dans ce film, nous allons suivre l'histoire de Flower, à travers son quotidien, son point de vue, ses émotions, ses pensées. C'est un ton et un genre particulier que je veux donner à ce film qui n'est ni un drame, ni une comédie, car ce n'est jamais seulement noir ou blanc, il y a plutôt une multitude de gris qui nous entoure. Je souhaite que ce film soit un bon mélange entre le réalisme et le magique, entre la légéreté et la gravité, mais aussi et à travers les images en faire un film dérengeant, physique et organique. Car nous vivons entre la lumière et les ténèbres, entre le vrai et faux, le rêve et le réel et que face à une réalité collective à laquelle nous sommes impuissant, nous avons tous établie la notre, celle qui nous est propre, tout comme le personnage de FLOWER."
