Feeding Children's Village Haiti

Donation protected
BREAKING NEWS: An anonymous donor will match dollar for dollar all donations given by June 30, 2017

Help us build a Shade House for Children's Village (Harvest House Haiti, Judy Foster)!
Children's Village will be a hospice for disabled children and children with AIDs.  The Shade House for growing fruits and vegetables at Children’s Village,  designed by Dick Gladon, Professor Emeritus from Iowa State University, will allow for inexpensive, healthy food for the kids, with a longer growing season, as well as a source of income.  It will also allow other residents of the St George, Haiti, area to work in the garden for a percentage of the produce that they help to grow.  They can use it themselves, or they can sell it.  St George does not have a marketplace, so residents have to go to another town for produce that they don’t grown themselves, or to sell produce.  Hopefully, this new influx of local produce will help to get a marketplace going in the St George area.  Feeding kids, feeding families and supporting the community! Help us to raise funds to build this facility as soon as possible.

Harvest House Haiti (HHH - Judy Foster) is the organization building the Children's Village and Ayiti Hope, my organization, works with HHH in partnership.  Harvest House Haiti is based in Ocala, FL, and HHH is an approved Non- Governmental Organization (NGO) in Haiti.  www.harvesthousehaiti.com
www.ayitihope.org   Harvest House Haiti (Judy Foster) has already begun working with the community, while building the Children's Village.  A well was dug near the local school, where it supplies over 400 families, in addition to supplying Children's Village.  Funds for the Shade House will be raised by Ayiti Hope here in the US, and materials will be purchased here and shipped to Haiti.  (Materials are either not available or very expensive in Haiti.)  Ayiti Hope will then take a team into Haiti to build the Shade House.

Future plans for interaction with the community include an after school tutoring program and a senior feeding program.   They will also supply housing to visiting teams who will work with them on various projects including medical clinics in St George and other rural areas.

If you visit our website or Facebook Page (Ayiti Hope) you can also purchase Haitian grown coffee or a calendar produced for HHH with lovely pictures of areas that we work in.  Proceeds from these sales will also go to the Shade House fundraiser.  Ayiti Hope Facebook Page   and just click on Shop Now here or on the Facebook Page.  Or  www.ayitihope.org  and to shop click on Shop Haitian, or to get there directly click here: Shop Haitian.
