My Pancreas Removal (Out of State)

Tina is one of the most amazing women in the world; I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know. She is always the first person to help when you need her. She takes care of her family and friends all the time and it is now time to return the favor.

Tina has had as many as 10-12 surgeries to try and fix what ails her. However, even after having something so complex as the Whipple, nothing seems to have worked yet. As all of us know, insurance doesn’t favor the patient, but rather bleed them dry. Tina and Shawn have a very large amount of medical bills that have already piled up…the amount would astonish you.

Today, she went to a specialist and as a result she will be having her pancreas removed in Minnesota. This, we are hoping, will be the one that works. Tina will have some side affects to deal with, but Tina is a tough cookie and can handle it.

I am reaching out to all of our family and friends to help her pay for the additional cost she cannot afford. With all of our help, even the smallest amount, we can relieve the stress of such a major surgery and let Tina can relax and recover with a little peace of mind.
