Family Focus Center ~ Give a Future

The Family Focus Center is a non-profit after school enrichment program that provides families with after school care for their school aged children at minimal to no cost. Our organization offers liberal arts classes such as ballet, guitar, acting, yoga, karate, recycle art, gardening, and cooking, to name a few.
We are in dire need of funds to advertise, perform outreach, buy materials for classes, and hire individuals to aid with management, finances, and grant writing, and overall, to ensure that our doors will remain open for the next generation of children. Funds will also go towards scholarships so that children coming from low income families may take classes.
Our world full of creation is fed by dreams, placed in light by parents, teachers, and the freedom of mind to run with what has been learned in the company of these individuals. I work with children. Every day I am humbled, my greatest joy stemming from a child's ability to learn guitar or ballet, to learn the importance of recycling, to grow their own food and use it in organic cooking, to make a friend, or two, or thirty...as we are a family. I am filled with joy at the sight of a child's glistening eyes and silly grin, knowing that for some of these children, smiles do not come easily due to their home lives or other exigencies outside of their control.
The work that is done at the Family Focus Center is exceedingly important. Non-profit liberal arts programs such as this one will only flourish in our children's futures if the conceptualization of the weight that education holds on our future is sanctioned by society. Nothing can be taken for granted for too long before the ground crumbles beneath it.
With this, I would like to humbly ask for your aid at this time, through a monetary donation or through the sharing of this cause.

Donation Rewards -
$5 - $20: Your name will be placed on our wall of sponsors.
$20 - $40: Your name will be placed on our wall of Sponosors and in our end of the year program given to 200 families.
$40-$60: Your name will be placed in our program and on our sponsor wall, and you will also receive a hand written card by one of the FFC students.
$60-$100: Your name will be included on our wall and in our program, you will recieve a card from a class of students, and are invited to visit FFC sponsored events free of charge. To learn more about these events, please visit familyfocuscenter.org.
