Family Afraid Of Being At Home

Donation protected
Hi,

My name is Donna. For the past few months I have been dealing the homeless people camping out behind our house. Within the past couple of months, the homeless people have been trying to break into my house, and shed, 3 or 4 times.

I have done 4 interviews with KGW, from May 25th-June 7th. The police have been called several times, in which they told me to put no-trespassing signs up, because there was nothing they can do. Because the mayor told them not to do anything. Of course, I have put the signs up all over my yard, but that has not stopped the homeless people from coming over onto our property.  Besides, the mayor telling the police not to do anything, they need ODOT to do something, but I have contacted ODOT several times, and they still have not doing anything. I have even contacted the Governor, but she has not done anything. We have NO one helping my daughter and myself. I am also, a widow. Husband passed away a few months ago.

This past Monday, June 5th, the homeless people broke into our shed, and stole our lawnmower, tarps, Police again wouldn't do anything. I would feel safer if I could get a security system, a dog, and get our sheds torn down. But, I cannot afford to do any of that.

My family would appreciate any help that you can give.

If you would like to see my interviews with KGW, you can go to their Facebook Page, and their website.

Thank you,

Donna
