Filmmakers & Animation Summer Camp

During the summer of August 4th - 8th 2014, we conducted an open summer camp teaching the Visual and Cinematic Arts. We use technology to motivate and capture the minds and creative sides of our kids and teens. Our program has the most talented individuals teaching the creative art of film making and animational sciences.
We took 10 kids and teens and exposed them to filming and animation creation and design, they took it like fish out or water. Our kids were exposed to a specialized curriculum, with workshops, fictional lab-work and hands on field-work. The program was so successful that groups around State of Michigan wanted us to duplicate it. For the summer of 2015, we are planing on having two classes. One in Grand Rapids, Michigan and the other in Farmington, Michigan.
We teamed up with the a very wonderful Christian businesswomen, that truly believes in what the kids and teens have created. Mrs. Salathiel Palland she the owner of historically registered book store and cafe called. Off the Beaten Path Books & Cafe. http://www.otbpbookstore.com
We will be using her facility to teach and conduct classes.
We're asking for your help to raise funds for the next round of the Filmmakers and Animation Summer Camp 2015. This is for the kids that can't afford the cost of the camp. Please help us to help our youth to find a positive way to express themselves.
The program was so successful during the summer of 2014 in Grand Rapids, Michigan that it placed in the placed in the Art Prize competition 2014.
This is what they created during the summer classes called “My Hero”. The kids created Documentary about their hero’s.

The second part of the summer classes was Animation. Just look at the creativeness of the kids and teens.

At the end of the program, the kids are still with us learning today. Now we have production company’s around the State of Michigan wanting to work with these kids. WOW! You can't ask for any better than that.
