Rescue mission and transportation

Upon learning through the US Embassy in Mexico City that 2 1/2 year old Elizabeth was burned over 60% of her little body, I was asked to go rescue Samantha age 5 from Mexico. Melissa (the girls mother) traveled along as Elizabeth was airlifted to the USA and left Samantha in the care of the abusive man's mother. Through the generosity of family, friends and friends of friends, I was able to travel to Mexico to rescue Samantha who seemed happy to see me and excited to go home. She is doing great! Elizabeth on the other hand is still struggling to survive. She has an infection and a fever that will not go away. She has a feeding tube and has reverted to using a bottle. She loses her hearing from time to time and only says 3 words. Our primary goal is complete with Samantha's return to the US. If Elizabeth survives, she will have years of skin grafting and physical therapy and therapy for the abuse she has endured. Thank you for your contributions, please continue to pray for the best outcome for little Elizabeth! We are eternally grateful for your love and support. Sue and Wes Evans.
