Hello my name is Melanie. I am 23 years old. I joined GoFundMe to help fund the change of my life. I’m raising $50,000 to go to The Biggest Loser Resort in Amelia Islands, Florida.
This money will help me to accomplish three things
1. Lose weight.
2. Learn how to live a healthy lifestyle that consists of eating healthy and daily exercise, and
3. Learn how to maintain a healthy weight.
I began gaining weight in my early adolescence as my family life took a shock. I became depressed and began to develop a relationship with food and became even more depressed. This excess weight has affected my life in the areas of self-image, self-esteem, and self-confidence. I literally have no friends and my social life is almost non-existent.
I know that going to the Biggest Loser camp will help me in all those areas and I will be on the right path to completely transforming my life. I am thanking you all in advance for all your support and will be glad to post pictures of this journey as I reach milestones.
