It's been 10 years since I was last living and creating in England so you can imagine my joy when I was recently informed my image of the very talented & beautiful Janelle Monáe had been selected for the Annual Open Exhibition at the Knapp Gallery in London, UK!
After an extensive scream and enthusiastic jump for joy, I realized three things:
1. I would LOVE to attend the opening ceremony on June 17th, 2015! In addition to this being the Alumni Exhibit at my Alma mater - this would be a fantastic opportunity to revisit the city that help me grow as a photographer!
2. I live in Brooklyn, NYC - home to the coolest, most creative & supportive artist network I know! I have no doubt you guys can help me make this dream a reality!
3. I adore Janelle Monáe and would very much like my photograph of her to be presented in the best possible way - this is where you all come in.
This beautiful piece of art has got to get printed, mounted, matted & framed and needs to be ready to hang, in London, by May 5th 2015!
I'm asking for your help with printing & framing cost as well as travel & lodging expenses. As this due date is coming up pretty fast, I am also asking for your assistance spreading the word: Tell EVERYBODY!

$650 - A 16” x 20” Archival Pigment Print with Conservation Framing
$200 - International Shipping fees
$3000 - Roundtrip Airfare & Hotel stay to London, UK
$1650 - Meals, Local Transport & Incidentals during trip
