Zach and Katie’s Story
My name is Lowri I live in a town called Llanelli and I am making this appeal on behalf of my dear friends Zach and Katie. Life for this dedicated young couple in their twenties has been much the same as many young people, caring for their four year old daughter, meeting work commitments and planning to get married once they have saved enough money. This week they were faced with the devastating news that Zach has an aggressive form of bowel cancer which has also affected his liver. The medical opinion is that a cure is unlikely. With time very much of the essence it is no wonder that they wish to seal their love for one another by getting married without delay. Unfortunately they do not have that nest egg which would enable to do this so my appeal to you is please can you help with a donation which will make this a possibility. They are not looking for a splash affair, just a register office wedding and a meal afterwards so that family and friends can share in this very special occasion with them. It would mean so much to them to know that their commitment to each other is officially recognised.

The funds raised will be used for my friends to have a wedding and to support them at this terribly difficult time, traveling expenses for hospital appointments and treatments. The funds will be withdrawn and sent straight to Zach and Katie as this is an urgent matter.
