Important Notice

As the amount fundraised through the Wuhan University Overseas Alumni Science Foundation has reached the original goal, Wuhan University Overseas The Alumni Science Foundation will gradually stop accepting donations for Wuhan United as follows:

1.  Wuhan University Overseas Alumni Foundation will stop accepting donations for Wuhan United at 12:00 pm PST on February 5, 2020. In case this notice does not reach future donors in time, Wuhan University Overseas Alumni Foundation will use all donations it receives before 12:00 pm PST on June 30, 2020, to support Wuhan United to help fight the coronavirus epidemic.

2. HUST Silicon Valley Fund will continue to raise funds for Wuhan United

Together We End Corona Virus

Wuhan is a city of 11 million people which is centrally located in China. It is the 7th largest city in China. The whole city is currently under quarantine after the Coronavirus outbreak in mid December 2019. The virus has infected thousands and resulted in tens of deaths. And the number is still growing! 

Wuhan United is a group of Chinese Americans in San Francisco bay area. We are comprised of individuals whom are Wuhan natives, university alumni from Wuhan, medical students from hospitals in Wuhan, and professionals in the Bay area. Our friends, classmates and parents are suffering in the city and fighting the disease.

Wuhan United has started fundraising to support Wuhan's medical staff by: 
1. Delivering medical supplies 
2. Setting up financial fund for post-crisis care for doctor & nurse in Wuhan. 
3. We will also  provide coverage and awareness of coronavirus crisis.

        2020的春节，是一个特别的春节。我们心系湖北，心系中国。武汉的新冠肺炎疫情时刻牵动着我们这些海外游子的心弦。我们都募捐将用来购买医用物资，分阶段送往最前线的医护人员。

我们是谁：
        我们是身在美国硅谷，心系家乡的中国人。此次募捐由华科北加州校友会和武大北加州校友会一起发起。

募捐账户:
        我们采用在IRS注册的非盈利机构-武汉大学海外校友科学基金会，由专人全程监管。

        我们承诺整个流程公开透明： 款项- >购买物资 -> 接受方。

募捐第一阶段：
        缓解武汉以及周围地区医院的物资紧张

募捐第二阶段：
        疫情稳定后的支撑工作。比如后勤补给保障、医疗人员补助等。

物流：
        我们力争保持畅通、可持续物流通道，并且在接收方面有我们校友会的成员监督，保证物资送到第一线。

物资接受方：
        根据海外捐赠条例，接受方为湖北省慈善总会或指定的武汉以及周边区域的医院。 

物资清单：
        根据医院、慈善总会的要求，及美国市场物资供应特色来调整。当前物资主要为医疗耗材，包括防护服、口罩、护目镜和医用鞋套。我们会密切关注国内物资紧缺的程度和种类，参考相关医学专家的意见，按批次调整采购清单。

一、防护口罩
医用防护口罩：符合中国GB 19083-2010
N95口罩：美国NIOSH认证，非油性颗粒物过滤效率 >=95%
欧洲N95口罩：欧洲FFP2标准
KN95口罩：符合中国GB 2626强制性标准，非油性颗粒物过滤效率 >=95%
口罩必须是不带呼吸器/呼吸阀的

二、外科口罩
符合 yy 0469-2011医用外科口罩

三、防护服
符合GB19082-2009《医用一次性防护服技术要求》
二级以上医用防护服：一般衣服上有红蓝条纹

四、护目镜
二级以上医用护目镜 - Medical Safety Goggles / Protective Eyewear
