NHS NEEDS SCRUBS

'Wellesbourne Scrubbers' are residents of Wellesbourne, Kineton, Lighthorne, Combrook, Walton, Harbury, Long Itchington, Southam, Ashorne, Ratley, Morton Paddox and Shotteswell.

We are sewing to provide the essential scrubs needed to protect our wonderful NHS staff at Warwick Hospital, as well as in local GP surgeries and health care units in our region.

Until the Government can fulfil the current shortage, the NHS is relying on homemade scrubs made by volunteer 'Scrubbers'.

We urgently need funds to provide our volunteer sewers with fabric, thread, buttons and elastic.

Each set of scrubs costs £10 to make. Each NHS worker needs three sets, costing £30.

Please donate to help us to support the NHS.

If you would like to get involved in sewing please contact Sharon Underhill on the Warwickshire Scrubbers facebook page or the Wellesbourne  Community page.
