Upgrades AVCS Baseball Facilities -Au Sable Forks

My name is Randy Douglas , I have been a baseball coach at Au Sable Valley Central School for the last 22 years . We are a doing a fundraiser to do improvements to our baseball facilities in Au Sable Forks. The plan is to raise $10,000 to put a new metal roof on the historic bleachers , put in a new electric scoreboard , obtain new metal player benches and possibly build dugouts , and purchase a new flag pole . The historic Au Sable Forks Field built in the 1940’s has served in many lasting memories for fans, players and coaches from the old Au Sable Forks High School , AVCS , and the the CVBL leagues. The Historic bleachers, one of the last of its kind in the North Country, have been utilized for many events including the Jay/Black Brook summer program and little league games. Since we have started this fundraiser many locals have shared their stories and memories from this wonderful facility and have offered to help raise the funds needed for the planned improvements. Please help us preserve our local history and make, once again, the Au Sable Forks Field the best in the North Country . Any donation small or large will be graciously appreciated.
