In honour of Nabeel Al-Azami's family

This fundraising page has been set up by friends of Nabeel Al-Azami to provide 'our' gift to the family of our dear friend and brother, who at the age of 39 years, returned to his Lord at the blessed time of fajr on the morning of Wednesday 14th August 2019. It is a gesture of gratitude to the beloved family of our beloved brother.

Many of us knew Nabeel as a tireless and active member of the Islamic community, from his time at Manchester University, to his work with Islamic Relief, and most recently as a co-founder of Murabbi Consulting. He was determined not to let his illness deter him from finishing his first book, on the leadership qualities of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which Alhamdulillah was published and launched in June this year.
For those of us fortunate to have known him over the years, he was an inspiration and a humbling presence to us all. A person of great character, who did so much for our community, inspired us to be better as human beings and as Muslims, and who reminded us how to be steadfast in the path of Allah despite the many trials and tribulations that we come across.
Nabeel was the eldest son of Mamoon Al-Azami. He leaves behind a loving wife, and three young children aged 11, 9 and 4. This page is for them - Jazakumullahu khayran for your duas and support.
May Allah (swt) forgive Nabeel and accept his good deeds. May he enter him into the Garden without reckoning. May he make his grave expansive and may he grant him Jannat al-Firdaws. Ameen.
