Save the Nanaimo Fringe Outdoor Venue

UPDATE: We have received confirmation that our contents insurance is not covering the loss, so this fundraiser is even more essential. Thank you all for your continued support!

On the evening of our 12th annual Nanaimo Fringe Festival Preview, $7000.00 worth of technical equipment was stolen from the storage container at our Outdoor Stage in the Old City Quarter.

But the show must go on - with our first scheduled performance this afternoon (August 12th) at our Gallery Row outdoor venue and the Festival running until August 21st, 2022. Please consider donating within your means, so we can retrieve the unexpected costs associated with this huge loss.

Most importantly, this is a call to our treasured community to SHOW UP in support of our Fringe artists* - and please be understanding of any technical difficulties that may arise at our outdoor stage as a result of the theft.

Pacific Coast Stage Co., presenter of the Nanaimo Fringe Festival, is a registered charitable organization. This is a significant hit to the "little Fringe that could" -- please reach out and show us some love!

*Artists receive 100% of their ticket sales as per the Fringe model, so none of this revenue can go to costs associated with equipment replacement.
