Now, a little bit about me. I’ve have been transitioning for just over 4 years and I have been lucky enough to be in a postition here in the UK where some of my healthcare has been provided to me by the NHS. Some but not all. I am now asking for help towards covering the surgeries that the NHS won’t, particularly breast augmentation and Facial feminisation surgery.
I normally wouldn’t ask for help for this kind of thing but unfortunately my dysphoria has become a bit of a monster and I have been struggling with depression due to this. Thankfully antidepressants have been a large help in making day to day life manageable but not without its troubles.
I am self employed and in work but with a wife and 2 children saving is difficult, but not impossible, and I’m putting away a small amount of money each month (hence why I am not asking for the full amount of the cost, which is over£18k in total). But without help it will be years before I can afford these surgeries.
Any and all help is so greatly appreciated and I can’t express how grateful I am to anyone that takes the time to read this and donate.
