Reducing hunger and social isolation by delivering free, high-quality meals to people in need in Brattleboro and surrounding communities Good morning everyone. I have been up for hours going over the books. I am not able to announce menus for this week at this time. Your donations have gone to good use but the demand is just too great. For food alone I’m spending almost $2000 per week. We have additional costs now of rent, utilities and insurance. This demand is going to increase. We have to find a way to make this not only sustainable at the costs mentioned but it’s got to scale up. As Everyone Eat’s comes to what we hope is a temporary closure, our community is very vulnerable. I am not a wealthy person, far from it. However, I am extremely passionate about cooking for my community and taking my responsibility as a member of this community seriously by doing my part. I need YOU ALL to do your part. That means donating if you can, asking anyone who will listen to donate. This is a call to action. Have a look on our group page to read the impact that quality prepared meals has on people’s lives.
