MOVING PEOPLE

MOVING PEOPLE - a campaign to support Movement-Artists at House of Mass. ▪ In brief: Since many are in a similar position of having lost their jobs, MOVING PEOPLE is here to compensate for participants which can't pay for classes/activities right now. All will be split between all the teachers and artists at House of Mass to give them the chance to receive a little extra. Suggested are £3 £5 £8 £10 £20 MOVING PEOPLE is trying to hold against the crazy low incomes teachers&artists currently receive x ▪ In more detail: The performing art sector has been heavily affected by the current pandemic and has led to many performers being left without work. Most jobs are freelance, but neither freelance nor employed dance-artists usually earn very much at the best of times. The performance-artist trains, develops, dances everyday to keep body and mind strong and creative. Instead of teachers/artists needing to hope for enough donations from people in a similar position, MOVING PEOPLE hopes to raise funds to help ease this pressure at House of Mass. House of Mass will strive as usual, to invite excellent artists to teach and lighten our spirit. After each class we encourage and recommend always, to pay the teachers/artists first and directly. MOVING PEOPLE is an additional way a donation can be made - adding to a pot which will give all teacher/artists at HOM the chance to receive a little more. ALL monies go to the teachers/artists who will have been teaching at House of Mass over this course of quaranteen.  The campaign aims to support moving individuals, during a time where many feel a lot of pressure, economically and otherwise.
